Toronto, Canada - June 22, 2021 - Independent film distributor Unobstructed View has entered into an exclusive home entertainment distribution agreement in Canada with Grasshopper Film. Grasshopper was founded in 2015 by Ryan Krivoshey and is a distribution company dedicated to the release of independent, foreign and documentary films.
Grasshopper’s eclectic slate of acclaimed and adventurous releases includes a library of over 300 feature films and documentaries, including 2018 Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature Last Men in Aleppo, directed by Feras Fayyad, as well as Robert Greene’s Bisbee ’17 and Sundance prize-winner Kate Plays Christine, two-time Academy Award winner Asghar Farhadi’s Fireworks Wednesday, Khalik Allah’s Black Mother, Hong Sang-soo’s Right Now, Wrong Then, Bertrand Bonello’s Nocturama and Bi Gan’s Kaili Blues, among many others.
