Announcing Exclusive Partnership with The Cinema Guild

Unobstructed View recently became the exclusive Canadian distributor for The Cinema Guild. The Brooklyn-based boutique label is one of the more venerable institutions founded decades ago by Philip and Mary-Ann Hobel, producers known for their work in documentaries and features, including Tender Mercies, winner of two Academy Awards. It is now owned by former employee Peter Kelly who has carved out a niche with festival favorites like El Mar La Mar, the striking debut from China’s Qiu Sheng Suburban Birds, Liberte, Isabella, Girl And The Spider and In Front Of Your Face.
